The Road From Here
So it has been quite the year this year from the good ,the bad and the ugly. This journal isn't a "I am leaving" or " I quit DA" post so there is no worries about that, however I would like to talk about something(s) that have been on my mind for awhile.
I started DA as a way to upload art and get feedback if possible similar to a portfolio. Obviously when I started, I wasn't all that great. I used a nice free program called "GIMP" as I discovered my enjoyment for Graphic Design. To this day I still love Graphic Design and photomanipulation to take objects and/or subjects and form a scene. I'm not the best artist when it comes to drawing but I enjoyed the thought of being creative as well as taking scenes from my head and translating it to a visual for others to see. While I have learned so much over the years to build myself to produce the things I do now, my "skills" aren't the only thing to have "develop" or "change" as time goes by. Life has been keeping me busy and while I'm not going to dive into my personal life the takeaway from this sentence would be that I am simply short on time. Unfortunately I do not have the time nowadays like I did 4 or 5 years ago.
So what is the point of this journal? I am no longer focusing on porting models or public release. I do not have time to crunch all the time to upload models in the "professional" method I have come to *try* to do. Especially when only a handful of people give thanks and use them for the intended purposes of fanart. I knew what I was getting in to after discussing things with the veteran porters but hearing and witnessing are two different things. I've seen people reupload or re-edit some models and it is what it is. Obviously they don't care about respect and that is on them. That isn't the reason for ceasing public releases. Time is. For the Road Ahead I'd rather focus on the original reason I made a DA account: Artwork.
Now before some folks get mad or sad, If something comes out that I *want* to port (whether it be a collab with Chidori or a solo port) for a public release then I'll probably do so, but that is a rare occurrence. I do have a Samurai Jack port to finish at some point(that Chidori went balls-to-the-wall to give some custom rigging and such) which will get released but It is just a matter of time to get everything properly fixed because those models need some work after extraction.
I appreciate all the support and I'm sure majority of you in the 699 followers will probably unfollow or be bummed by this journal. But if you want something, do what I did and look up the "how-to" and learn. I was lucky enough to be guided by some on here and a little reading can go a long way. With that being said, the ports I have currently are still up so no worries. I've seen a lot of "download not working" or " download/ model link?" comments so I'll say that a lot of my uploads are through DA, so check the download button under the images. If the model is in a "Private" folder, I normally specify that there is no download. I'm not going to respond to comments asking for a download if there is no download and I've specified previously that there is none. I also do not take requests, so I will not respond to those comments anymore.
SO ANYWAYS, I am personally excited or the road ahead. I am thinking about upgrading my photoshop and trying to elevate my artwork further! Thanks to those who always comment and give feedback on anything I upload and thanks to those who tag me in the awesome artwork utilizing ports I've worked on! That motivates me in more ways you could imagine! Ya'll be safe and if you've made it this far THANK YOU for giving a damn and reading this essay of a journal. Until my next upload,

Update: June 4th 2020
Hope everyone is all good! Just making a quick update journal to inform everyone that we haven't been ignoring anyone these past couple weeks! We have been busy IRL but DA's change to Eclipse moved everything around, making it harder for us to see the notifications. Now that I know how to do it, I'll try and check up more. For those that submitted things in the past days/ weeks, I re-requested them so check your notifications if you recently submitted something to the group! Stay safe all!

Update!!!!
I appreciate all the support on the Kakarot releases. I’m taking a small break from them so I don’t burn myself out. I’ve seen the requests I’ve been getting and I’m taking note. I’m going to finish the character I randomly decided to port then I’m probably going to jump to another model (OPM models if I can get them ripped or DBFZ Kefla). After those I’ll port more Kakarot stuff as time goes on and if I’m still motivated to do so.
I understand that I can say a bunch of stuff in my descriptions and only half will read them but one thing that pissed me off/ makes me not want to port is when people download my ports and reupload them for something else without crediting me for the work I did. I prefer to keep things away from the adult side of content but I know it goes in one ear and through the other. Whatever. But whatever you do with these models, please credit me at least. I’ve seen some stuff all over with some credit and some not.
Anyways, IRL stuff is keeping me busy so not much activity per usual. My plans going forward are:
-port some Kakarot models when able
-look into porting One Punch Man models
-finishing my OC for ShaunsArtHouse’s Mass Effect comp
-Do some photoshop stuff as it comes up.

We Need to Talk.......
It seems like the time has come to make a journal with some rules and such regarding future content and such. I try to be a nice guy in general, I try to learn, I try to teach. I try to be fair but I also try to do things for myself too. Just a warning, I'm going to sound like a huge ass in this journal. But there is a time to get mean. So, lets talk about model ports.
For months now, I've been getting messages and comments asking about Starfire. It has been like a broken record hearing how "it is childish or unfair" for me to keep her private. But is it really? I made the decision to keep a model that I (along with some friends who helped when I got stuck) worked hard on, private. I very well know just about everything gets lewded. I see it everywhere. People make a living off of it, and I'm not trying to bash it. However, when someone particularly says "DO NOT MAKE ANY PORN OR ANY ADULT CONTENT" with said model asset they worked on, people still do it. People go against one's word and basically laughs in their face. All to make some half-assed lewd model (not all of them are half-assed, but most of them are). So seeing that, I decided to keep SF private. Because lets face it, people would lewd her in a heart beat. It has already happened to StickLove's amazing mobile port. Even though I'm new to porting things, I know for a fact I didn't want that to happen. So I made a little promo ad it blew up. I got messages from some people asking, to which then I gave a look over at their gallery to see what type of art they produced. I think I gave 4 people a chance and sent them a beta version of Star. So far I've seen some cool stuff with her, but from only 2 people.
Moving on, I mentioned I've had countless messages about her, most people who have asked have had either nothing in their gallery and are new to DA or they have stuff that I didn't like. So I told them no. And most of them didn't respond. I've only had two people give me lip because they don't understand the meaning of no. With one of them it got so bad to the point where they kept asking and asking. Then they left it alone for a week then bombarded me again. Let me tell ya'll this tactic won't work. I'm a very stubborn person. And so I ignored this person until recently. They decided to comment about someone's amazing deviation utilizing my Starfire port basically trying to protest me being unfair. Needless to say he is now blocked. And if anyone else feels the need to do the same, I'll block them just the same. If people really want Starfire so badly, learn to port your own version. If I can do it (with some help of course) then so can someone who is willing to take the time to learn. I do not owe anybody anything.
Starfire is now a private model. I will not share any model that is under the "private model" folder. Period. The ONLY time I will, is if I send it to another modeler that I TRUST. Which is either 4 or 5 people.
But anyways I am going to wrap this up. I feel I've ranted enough. As of this journal post here are the new rules I'm going by:
1.) If you ask for a model that is in my private model folder, the answer will be no. There will be no negotiation. Period.
2.) If you decide you want to harass me about it, I'll block ya.
If you are one of the lucky few to have received Starfire, please honor my conditions and keep her for yourself. Make kick-ass art. Whether it be today, tomorrow or next year.
Any models/poses/ assets I wish to share will be put into an appropriate folder.

1- Which fictional character have you totally been in love with, if any?
B: I don't know if I'd call it love, but The Flash has always been my favorite since I was a kid. So many personal reasons on why, I could write a book on it. Now if we are talking about attraction, then I'd have to say Psylocke or Spidergwen.
2- Are you even a little bit superficial? (I know you’re lying if you say no. You’d take a Ferrari over a beat up Ford any day of the week and we both know it)
B: Depends? Appearance is one thing, but if we are talking cars for example, I'd love to drive something badass like a SS Chevelle, but if I am given a good working vehicle that can be reliable, but it doesn't look as badass as a chevelle, beggars can't be choosers. Not sure if I answered that question.
3- Which celebrity would you like to slap in the face if given the opportunity?
B: All of them maybe? At least the ones who create drama. I honestly don't give a damn about celebs that are camera whores.
4- What was your first ever CD?
B: Limp Bizkit -Chocolate Starfish or Greenday - American Idiot. That was a long time ago, can't really remember which one came first.
5- What movie casting choice pissed you off the most?
B: Jared Leto Joker.
6- Which character do you always choose to play as in videogames? The big muscly guy, the ninja or the hot chick?
B: Depends on the game. Also depends on the character. Probably the Hot chick, cause I'm a bad boi
7- What videogame disappointed you the most?
B: EA's Battlefront. Although the graphics where amazing, the paywall and no story made the game fun until 1 week into playing it. Then it became repetitious and boring.
8- What tv show/musician are you secretly embarrassed that you like?
B: I sat and thought about this one for a moment, but I really can't think of any show or artist. Maybe Bruno Mars? Not a fan of that style of music, but the beats are catchy.

B: Ryan Reynolds. Maybe.
